What type of hair is this?
Slavic hair is of the highest quality. With proper care, it can be worn for around 3 years. It has a complete cuticle, is healthy, soft, shiny and, above all, lightweight. It causes no problems whatsoever when worn or cared for. The hair is not coated with any substance, which is why it does not change after washing; it may simply gain a subtle, natural volume.
The hair we sell is exclusively of Polish origin; very often it is children’s hair. The ponytails we sell are combed in such a way as to ensure the ends are as even as possible and to remove any short, broken hairs. After all processing, the hair is left to dry naturally, which clearly reveals its natural structure. As each bundle is cut from a different head, it is unique, with a different structure, length and weight.
Raw hair bundles – what next? We sell
the hair in raw bundles. Once you have chosen a bundle with a texture similar to your own hair, and of the right length and weight, you can have it processed using your chosen method. If one bundle is not enough, you can choose two or more with a similar texture. We can adapt the hair for the Tape-On method, micro-rings, keratin, ultrasound, Clip-In, or we can sew it onto tape. The cost of the service depends on the length and weight of the bundle; we can provide an approximate cost for the adaptation before carrying out the service. Find out more about our services in the Hair Adaptation section.
How much hair should you choose?
To add volume to your hairstyle, choose a hairpiece of a similar length to your own. The weight can be minimal, depending on your needs.
For hair extensions, choose the length you wish to achieve. On average, around 100 grams of hair is used for a length of 50 cm. The longer the hair you’re attaching, the more grams you’ll need; the shorter it is, the fewer grams required. It’s best to hold your own hair in one hand and the extensions in the other; if the amounts are similar, the result will look natural, whilst any extra amount will add a corresponding amount of volume.
How should hair extensions be looked after?
Looking after them isn’t particularly fiddly; the most important things are thorough moisturising, regular detangling and using heat protection products when using heat styling tools. Detailed care instructions can be found in the ‘Care’ section. With proper care, the hair extensions will last for at least 6 months, and in most cases up to 3 years.
