Micro BondesG natural hair for microrings

How does the microring method work?

During the procedure, a thin strand of natural hair is threaded through a ring, and the end of the Micro BondesG hair is then placed inside it. The ring is tightened using special pliers, creating a small and secure attachment.

The strands are spaced at appropriate intervals and positioned at the correct height so that the attachments remain invisible and do not cause excessive tension on the natural hair. Correct installation should be carried out by someone with experience in micro-ring hair extensions.

How do you choose the right colour for microring extensions?

The length and quantity of the strands should be tailored to your current hairstyle, the density of your natural hair and the desired effect. Thickening alone usually requires less hair than significantly lengthening the entire hairstyle.

If you have short, thick or very dense hair, you may need a greater number of strands to ensure the transition between your natural hair and the extensions looks natural. It is best to agree on the final number of strands with the person carrying out the treatment.

How should you care for hair extended using micro-rings?

The hair should be combed regularly and gently, starting from the ends and gradually working your way up. When combing, it is advisable to hold the hair near the attachment points to minimise tension.

Heavy or oily haircare products should not be applied directly to the rings. These can increase the risk of the attachments coming loose. Conditioners and hair masks are best applied primarily to the lengths and ends of the hair.

You should not go to bed with wet hair. Before going to bed, your hair should be thoroughly dried and tied back in a loose plait or a low ponytail to minimise tangling.

Tightening hair on micro-rings

As your natural hair grows, the rings gradually move away from the scalp. Therefore, after a certain period of time, a repositioning is necessary. During the procedure, the ring is opened, the strand is moved closer to the root, and then secured again.

The frequency of readjustment depends, amongst other things, on the rate of hair growth, how the hair is cared for, and how correctly the initial application was carried out. You should not tighten or move the rings yourself without the appropriate tools and experience.

Micro BondesG are mechanically attached using rings, whilst keratin extensions are bonded to natural hair using heat. Micro-rings do not require the use of high temperatures during application and allow the bond to be opened when the extensions are lifted.
