Micro WeftG consists of natural hair mounted on a thin, sewn-in tape, designed for professional hair extensions and thickening. The tape’s design allows its width to be adjusted to suit the application site and the client’s individual needs.

The hair is 50 cm long, and the full strip also measures 50 cm. The stylist can divide it into appropriate sections and arrange them in such a way as to achieve even volume and a natural transition between the client’s own hair and the extensions.

What is the Micro WeftG method?

The method uses strands of hair woven into a flexible, sewn-together strip. Depending on the technique chosen, the strip can be secured using rings, threads or another professional method designed for weft-type hair.

The tape must be cut to size and positioned in accordance with the extension plan. Correct application should take into account the density of the natural hair, the shape of the head, the desired effect, and the safety of the scalp and hair follicles.

How do you adjust the width of the tape?

The tape should not be cut haphazardly. The cut edge should be properly secured to minimise the risk of the stitching coming loose and hair falling out.

How do you choose the right amount of Micro WeftG hair?

The amount of hair should be matched to the density and length of your natural hair. Thickening alone usually requires less hair than a full extension.

With short, thick or very dense hair, a greater amount of material may be needed to achieve a seamless transition and avoid a visible difference between your own hair and the extensions.

How do you choose the colour of the hair on the tape?

The colour of the hair extensions is best matched to the shade found along the length and at the ends of your natural hair. The colour at the roots may differ from the rest of the hairstyle and should not always be the main point of reference.

You should comb your hair regularly and gently, starting from the ends and gradually working your way up. Whilst combing, it is advisable to hold the hair near the attachment points to avoid putting excessive strain on the tape.

Conditioners, hair masks and oil-based products are best applied to the lengths and ends of the hair. Do not apply them directly to the attachment points, as this may weaken the stability of the weave.

Before going to bed, your hair should be dry and tied back in a loose plait or a low ponytail. Sleeping with wet hair increases the risk of tangling and matting.

Adjustment and re-attachment

As your natural hair grows, the tapes gradually move away from the scalp. After a certain period, it is necessary to remove the strands and reattach them closer to the roots.

The frequency of touch-ups depends on the rate of hair growth, the technique used, the care routine and the condition of your natural hair. You should not attempt to adjust or reposition the wefts yourself without the appropriate tools and experience.
