How does dry shampoo work?

Dry shampoo contains ingredients that help absorb excess sebum and refresh the hair at the scalp. It is a practical solution when travelling, after a workout, before going out, or whenever it is not possible to wash and dry your hair properly.

The product should be sprayed from the distance specified by the manufacturer, focusing primarily on the roots. After a short while, gently massage the product into the hair, then thoroughly brush out any residue. This helps achieve a more natural look and minimises the appearance of a white residue.

Dry shampoo can also be used as a styling product. It helps to add texture to the hair, boost volume and make styling easier. It works particularly well on fine hair that quickly loses its freshness.

It is important to remember that dry shampoo is not a substitute for regular washing of the hair and scalp. Using it too frequently without thorough cleansing can lead to a build-up of sebum and product residue. For proper cleansing, it is advisable to choose suitable shampoos.

In the case of natural hair extensions, the product should be applied carefully and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not spray the product excessively directly onto the attachment points, and any accumulated residue should be removed regularly during proper washing.
