Who are Clip-In hair extensions designed for?

A set of 5 or 6 Clip In SkinG strips?

Clip-in SkinG is available in two strip configurations. It’s worth choosing a set that suits the density of your own hair, the shape of your head and the desired effect.

5-strip set

The set consists of strips measuring 26 cm, 20 cm, 12 cm, 8 cm and 8 cm in width. The varied widths allow the hair to be distributed across the back and sides of the head.

Set of 6 strips

The set contains two 18 cm wide strips fitted with four clips, two 12 cm wide strips with three clips, and two 6 cm wide strips with two clips. The greater number of separate elements allows for a more personalised distribution of the hair.

For fine hair, the strips should be positioned so that the clips remain completely concealed. For thick hair, it is important to choose the right amount of clip-in hair to ensure a natural-looking transition between your own hair and the set.

How do you choose the colour of Clip-In hair?

It is best to match the colour of the clip-in hair to the shade found along the length and at the ends of your natural hair, rather than solely to the colour at the roots. GrzechHair offers a wide range of solid, multi-tonal and ombre colours.

How do you apply SkinG Clip-In hair extensions?

Before applying the extensions, divide your hair into horizontal sections. Attach the strips one by one, starting from the lower part of the head, keeping a suitable distance from the scalp. The clips should not cause any tension, and once the extensions are in place, they must remain hidden beneath your natural hair.

Once all the clips are in place, gently blend your own hair with the extensions and style as desired. If there is a noticeable difference in length between your own hair and the extensions, appropriate layering can help achieve a more natural transition.

How should you care for Clip-In natural hair?

Clip-in hair extensions do not need to be washed after every use. Washing is necessary when styling product residue has built up on the hair or when the set has lost its freshness.

Before washing, gently comb through the hair, starting from the ends and gradually working your way up. After washing, the set should be left to dry in its natural position. Do not rub or twist the tapes vigorously.

Once removed, it is best to store the hair in a dry place, without crushing or tangling it. It is not recommended to sleep or bathe whilst wearing the extensions. Proper care and storage help to maintain the hair’s attractive appearance for longer.
