Walker Tape® Max Hold Sport is the brand’s strongest scalp protector – designed for active people and users exposed to high humidity and heat. The product helps protect the skin from potential irritation, whilst also acting as a booster to support longer-lasting and stronger hold for tapes or adhesives.
The formula creates a protective layer that reduces the impact of moisture on the adhesive and can improve wear times in demanding conditions. It is a good choice for people who train, sweat a lot, swim or live in very hot and/or humid climates.
Max Hold Sport is not a substitute for tape or liquid adhesive – it is designed to prepare the skin before applying the system. Additionally, it allows contact with water immediately after fitting (without having to wait 24 hours); however, please note that when using the scalp protector, the tape/adhesive begins to set more quickly.

Directions for use
It is recommended that you carry out a patch test on a small area of skin before first use. Clean and degrease the skin thoroughly (e.g. with 99% alcohol), then leave it to dry completely.
- Prepare the skin for application using 99% alcohol.
- Apply 1–2 coats of Max Hold Sport to the scalp before applying any adhesive or tape.
- Leave to dry completely.
- Then apply tape or adhesive and fit the system.
- The product provides immediate adhesion – there is no need to wait 24 hours before the system comes into contact with water.
Precautions
This product is flammable – do not store or use near sources of heat, sparks or open flames. Use in a well-ventilated area. Close tightly after use. Do not use on damaged, broken or irritated skin. For external use only – do not swallow. Avoid contact with the eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Test on a small area of skin before use.
Storage
Store in a well-ventilated, cool, dry and dark place at a controlled room temperature (approx. 16–27°C). Protect from heat and light. Keep the container tightly closed. The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is available from the manufacturer.
